Hello big, beautiful world! My name is Mark. However, this won't be about a person. Ideas will outlive people. I want to document nature, the passage of time and the beautiful artwork of God’s hand. Everywhere I look I see destruction of the land we were given to take care of. I can’t help but wonder if there will be a generation that won’t get to see the same coastlines as oceans rise, or the same forest diversity as fires clear land. I promise to my viewers that I will never use AI. Though I try to capture the full dynamic range of colors in my work, I attempt to recreate what the naked eye sees. I will never use “photoshop” editing, nor high-stimulus dopamine editing methods. I hope my work can fund land conservation and natural food sources for our communities, both yours and mine.
